Right...Themes...

Okay so the first thing we have to consider is our theme...This has been more difficult than I could imagine!

Themes are big business! There are so many ways you can go with it. Fairy tale, circus, colour orientated, modern, vintage, rockabilly. The list is endless.
After hunting through dozens of bridal magazines, websites, blogs and books, I've decided that I'd rather like a vintage theme. This seems to be the most cost effective option, and I adore it. Its just beautiful.
I'm thinking pastel bridesmaids, roses and coronations, tea lights, loads of lace and mismatched crockery.
The bonus with this theme is that it is so cost effective. By planning a long engagement, I've been blessed with the time to make most of my own decorations, favours and stationary. I know by most standards, three years is not a massive amount of time, but it should be just enough.
Sam is a little against the idea because it is so common at the moment, but in three years it won't be!
the problem is, I'm also leaning towards a rockabilly theme. It's not as romantic as I'd like my wedding to be,   but it would express so much of my personality. As an aspiring tattoo artist, I can fully appreciate every part of this theme...Besides, my bridesmaids would rock a pokka dot frock and the other half would look sharp in a neat rockabilly suit!
God my head is so full of ideas! I've posted up some pictures of the themes I've mentioned above, as it is a bit of a mine field out there...
I'll keep you updated on everything I discover as I go!
